Evidence-based treatment for trauma-related presentations.

The clinic operates exclusively for clients accessing the NSW Victims Services Approved Counselling Scheme. All appointments are 50 minutes and delivered by secure video telehealth.

Eligibility & applications

We do not assist with Victims Services applications.

This clinic provides counselling only to clients who already have an active application with, or approved counselling hours from, the NSW Victims Services scheme. Our counsellors do not prepare, lodge or advocate for Victims Services applications.

To apply for Victims Support, please apply directly via the NSW Government or engage a dedicated victims support service to assist you with the application process.

Our counsellors assess and treat the following trauma-related presentations in adults.

  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Complex PTSD
  • Domestic and family violence
  • Sexual violence and assault
  • Adverse childhood experiences
  • Depression and mood disorders
  • Generalised and panic anxiety
  • Grief and bereavement following crime
  • Sleep disturbance and hyperarousal
  • Adjustment disorders

Therapeutic modalities

Evidence-based interventions.

Treatment is guided by contemporary clinical guidelines. Modalities are matched to the presentation and clinical formulation.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing — a WHO- and APA-recommended treatment for PTSD.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Structured cognitive-behavioural interventions targeting trauma-related cognitions and avoidance.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Values-based behavioural intervention for anxiety, depression and comorbid presentations.

Narrative Therapy

Externalising and re-authoring approaches to identity and trauma.

Motivational Interviewing

Evidence-based approach to ambivalence, engagement and behaviour change.

Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy

Time-limited, goal-directed intervention where clinically indicated.

STEP 02

Triage

Our intake team responds within two business days to arrange a 15-minute triage call.

STEP 03

Allocation

Based on presentation and availability, you are allocated to the most appropriate counsellor.

STEP 04

Treatment

50-minute telehealth appointments delivered via secure video conferencing.

Fees

Cancellation policy
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment.
