Every counsellor at Victims Services Counselling is an approved provider under the NSW Victims Services scheme and trained in evidence-based, trauma-focused treatment.

Clinical standards
Practice governance.
All counsellors hold current professional registration and are bound by the ethical codes of their governing bodies (AASW, ACA or PACFA). Practice is governed by regular clinical supervision, ongoing professional development, and adherence to the NSW Victims Services approved provider standards.
Treatment is delivered in accordance with contemporary, evidence-based clinical guidelines for the management of PTSD and trauma-related disorders.

Our counsellors share a consistent standard of qualification, accreditation and clinical experience. Referrals and enquiries are triaged centrally and allocated to the most appropriate counsellor based on presentation, availability and clinical fit.
